paired but not connected?

i have been trying to connect my Motorola Razor to my Ford 6000 cd player and keep getting the same "paired but not connected message.

i have changed my phone (which worked before) and kept the same number and sim

I have folowed the instructions from the ford manual and still nothing working when trying to make a call.

Paired but not connected means that the phone and car know each other, but they're not connecting. Try the service department at the Ford dealership - they may have run into this before.
