Pairing Bluetooth CE Compass keyboard

Has anyone attempted to pair a CE Compass Bluetooth mini keyboard to a Samsung Captivate? Reason I ask is that the phone will detect the keyboard but I don't have a code to pair it.

Have you tried the standard codes: 0000 and 1234?

Yep, and it still won't, pair up

I also have the CE Compass Bluetooth mini keyboard and Samsung Captivate. I got as far as "Paired but not connected".

When your phone asks you for a pin number type in "1234" and hit ok. Then on the keyboard type "1234" and hit enter.

Any help/ideas?

Update:

What I'm getting from my online searching is that Bluetooth HID is not supported by Android and most of these bluetooth keyboards use the HID profile. I think we might be SOL.
