Help Pairing Bluetooth Headset to Sony Erricsson X8

Having just purchased a LSD-5011D Headset I am having problems with connecting it to my phone radio and MP3 files. There is no problems with phone chat capability, is there a way of configuring the phone for music and radio connectivity?

The phone should not need configuring for streaming music via Bluetooth. However can you confirm that the headset supports the A2DP Bluetooth profile?
