Help Pairing Issues with Lg Shine Plus

I easily paired my wife's LG Shine Plus with her car (Mercedes B200). The car shows up on the phone as connected and vice versa. However if we try to dial a number on the phone or on the car the phone dials but we get zero volume and it seems to revert to the phone.

I have checked the owners manual and believe I have all the settings correct.

I paired my BB Bold last nite and it worked perfectly thru the cars bluetooth phone so its the phone not the car.

Any suggetions?

I don't this bluetooth works the best on the Shine Plus

gcclubs, are you on version 2.3.3 of Android? (V20a) or the Android 2.1 v10d (Older version)? There are reports of having issues with bluetooth pairing with the latest upgrade.

I am at work now but will check her phone this evening to see which version is loaded on her phone.
