Pandora has become so bad on my Hero I've had to stop use entirely.
Beginning with v 1.5.4 Pandora would simply quit responding on an average of 3-4 times within a listening session (say 2-3 hours, factoring the restarts) and couldn't correct itself. Requires a force close to shut it down.
Pandora support has been very good at fielding my service requests. Even providing me a beta version of their next release to see if that might correct it, but in fact I think it's made it worse.
They now think I've run into a problem that has been effecting Sprint customers and are looking into a fix.
I haven't seen any postings here (or anywhere else at that matter) about this so either this is specific to Hero and/or Android v2.1 users which I am the lone person still using this, or folks are just living with the problem without talking about it which I would be very surprised if this were the case.
