Panorama photos

A Galaxy J7. I just downloaded an app called Panorama 360, but haven't quite figured out how to use it. I thought there was an easier way.

There should be a built-in feature of the Galaxy J7 that allows you to take panoramic photos. Try this:
  • Open the camera (that came pre-installed on the phone)
  • Tap the word "Mode"
  • Select the option that says "Panorama"
  • Tap the camera icon
  • Slowly move the camera horizontally, staying within the lines, until you've captured the area you want
  • Press the stop button
Are you able to find the "MODE" option in the Camera app?

I don't see any Mode setting. I looked in Camera Settings, no Mode. It says Picture size 4:3. Funny thing is, I seem to recall taking a panorama about a year ago, but can't remember how I did it.

You probably can't take a panoramic picture in 4:3 mode. Can you try to change your aspect ratio to 16:9?

It is likely that another camera setting you have selected or changed is preventing you from selecting the panoramic option. For example, if you were using the front facing camera you would not have the option to do a front facing panoramic photo. Most likely something you have selected (I'm thinking the 4:3 resolution) is preventing you from seeing this option.
