paradise island connection error?

Having troubles viewing friends says connection error when I try to access my friend list or view their island. Something about checking my network connection? How do I fix this??

I'm having the exact same problem. Tried 3g, wifi, 4g, doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm fairly sure the most recent update is the culprit. I have two phones with this game installed and the non-updated one was working while the updated one wasn't. Just updated the other phone and now both phones give the connection error message when I try to visit friends' islands.

I think their server was having problem. I have two of their games on iPad and was getting the same message with both.

Mine are better now, so it is getting better.
