Newbie
I'm a new user so hello all. I'm new to Android so I am sure this is an amatuer quesion but is there thread regarding parentla control apps?
 
Ooops, I forgot to add, I joined the forum because I found the thread on the security issues. As I mentioned, I am new to Droid phones because I am old. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 that so far I have been able to understand bu I am trying to learn more about downloads because there are a lot of bad ones.

What type of controls are you looking for? Control what apps are downloaded or lock apps that you have downloaded? Is this for your own phone or are you looking for controls for your child's phone?
 
Thank you for the reply and welcome. I am looking for tracking apps (to make sur where she is supposed to be) and phone controls (turn it off when she drives) for my kid's phone. The trick is she has Iphone instead of a Droid.
 
I am not familiar with what is available for the iPhone. You may want to check an iPhone forum. It is really easy to do everything you are looking for if you upgrade her to an android phone though.

I was concerned about the different software for each. I can not switch to her technology as I learned in DOS and she apparently can write complex programs for Apple based programs without ever taking a class. Kids!
