Hi. I downloaded Wifi finder App, and everytime I try to install it I get the error message "There was a problem parsing the package." This error have seen it in other Apps I tried to install earlier. Kindly tell, What does it mean and what is the cause of it?

Parse errors are often because the app APK was corrupted or truncated, and the app installer can't open it. Where are you downloading these apps from, Google, Amazon, or somewhere else? If it's somewhere else, be very careful about trojan malware that may have been added to the apps, especially from Chinese app stores.

Nope!

FYI

That's likely why you're getting parse errors, and a very high risk of ending up with something nasty on your phone.

e.g. Subway Surfers that did NOT come from Google or Amazon...

Why does a game like that need to record audio, send SMS, modify and delete contents of your USB, your precise GPS location, etc...?...because it's been modified and repackaged by an unauthorized third-party...OK!

And this Chinese app store is stating that root is required to install and run this Gameloft game....:mad:

yeh...try and play GT2, and have a very high risk of ending up with a bricked phone!
