I see DonB sent you over here for your question. My wife has the Rhyme, so I'll give it a go. Just keep in mind that I am going from memory, so if I need to look at here device, it will be a few hours before I am home.
Anyway, with that out of the way, are you having problems downloading from the market? If so, you may be able to cleat that up by clearing data and cache.
Settings | Apps | All | Google Play Store (or Market if it hasn't updated)
If that doesn't clear it up, you could try clearing data and cache for Downloads and Download Manager as well. They can be found in the same location as the Play Store.
