Partitioning problem

Basically, im trying to partition my SD card, but i would get a blank SD card notification at the end of the partitioning. It use to work before factory resetting my phone (Samsung Core prime SM-G360h) but not anymore. I click on the notification and it asks me to format the SD card to repair it. I format it and my SD card starts working again. I try to partition it again but the same problem occurs. I am using aparted for partitioning. Any help would be appreciate.
