It says there is no android version of hd2. So does that mean passion doesn't exist?

I read that as the actual form factor of the HD2 will not be used to make an android phone. Otherwise stories broke just days earlier (then this one) that HTC was working on Android 2.0 phones. At worst it means a phone with less ram then a HD2.
