Hi all

I have just upgraded to an S4....after setting it up I attempted to log into a few sites I used a lot...but the password was not recognised on some but not all, I have checked case, spelling etc and I am entering them correctly...but I still cant log on.

I cant understand why I am ok logging onto some sites but not others...especially as I can still log onto them on the computer..

Any thoughts?...

Thanks in advance..

Which browser are you using?

Hi Sreum...Im using the stock browser that came with the phone...I cant find the name of it, but its not chrome, firefox or opera anyway...

Do you think the browser may be causing the problem?

If you were using Chrome I would say yes. Because I have the same problem with chrome at times. But the stock browser, I'm not sure of.

Thanks for the reply...

For some reason, I have found that if I write the passwords into an email and send hem to myself, then copy and paste into the fields I can get onto sites!...weird eh...I just hope I dont have to keep doing it.

I might change browsers over to firefox to see it thats any better..

Or if you go to the Web page and start to enter the password enter just the first letter or number, then hit back button a couple times and restart putting in your password.

Reason being is for me I would type the first letter in and instead of only the one letter I hit, it would actually type it in twice.

Which browser are you using?

open your browser (the one that you have problems with)

then go into it's settings and advanced settings

delete all of the history, passwords, cookies, autofill, etc. and try it.

If it still does not work, go into Settings/Application manager, and find the browser name that you're using, and tap clear data, clear cache, then exit and restart the browser.

You will have to retype the passwords that were stored again, but this will clear out all the incorrect stuff that was in there before and you should be all good after that.... Don't forget to check the save passwords when you go to sites that require the password entries (if you want to save them, that is)
