Help Passwords for widgets. Do they exist?

Is it possible to have passwords for specific or even all active widgets?

For example I would like to have an email or facebook widget, but they are too open.

True, but when a person would swipe to that screen they can still see everything

Do you need a password to open the email app? Its just as open, all they would have to do is open the app.

I'd suggest putting a pin on the lockscreen, and not giving the phone to people you wouldnt trust with your mail.

I agree just use a password on the lockscreen and you dont have to worry about it

Me myself i have a password on my lockscreen and i very rarely let people see my phone anyways

I use the motion thing on the lockscreen. When the lockscreen comes up you can't see anything but the dots to connect until you swipe the right combo.

I use Smart App Lock.
It wont lock widgets but say if you lock email with it, your email widget wont open the app without the pin or pattern.
Also u can lock settings

As others are suggesting, it doesn't matter what you want to protect in your phone, from the eyes or use of people other than yourself, a password/pin protected lock screen takes care of that in one fell swoop with no need to password-protect individual apps/widgets. :)
