Pay full retail or ETF?

So I have a business line with ATT, an iphone which is for work. I wanted an Android as my personal phone. I've been using a Note 2, which I love. I've decided I want to keep it as my business and personal phone.

So I was debating just paying full retail for it, in which I assume ATT will issue me a bill for the rest of the phone (I've already paid the subsidized amount). Or I was thinking of just cancelling the line 14 daya out and pay thr ETF

My question is on the latter: if I cancel on day 15, do I just owe the ETF or will they still demand the device back?

You have to return the device to cancel the line.

If you look at how much it will cost you to pay full retail for the phone, it will still probably be cheaper than paying for the line for 2 years, but may be comparable to the etf.

I would be terminating the iPhone line, selling the iPhone, and pay the etf with the proceeds.
