there is a movie it was made mid 2000 its called pay it forward it bases an idea insted of repayng a favor you do 3 other people a favor because the one person helped you and because the person accepted your payment they must pay it forward too

so what im getting at is why don't we start a group of people paying it forward around AF helping newbies so those newbies can help other newbies or something of the sort? it would be great! make this community more of a community and everyone more friendly then they already are

you dont even need to do it on AF it can be in your neighborhood helping out the kids n' such

I wouldn't say its useless. I just think there are some issues in that not everyone whom receives help will be in a position necessarily to help 1 person, let alone 3 others..
 
I'm saying for some it would be impossible. Sometimes its better to be given no advice than to be given incorrect advice.
 
I agree its something that is already being done. However there are those who are technically challenged and can't help someone in here with their issues. While I love the heart that is behind the idea. I think a more practical way of doing it is realizing what realistically can be done. You also have to remember those who never ask questions they just lurk and learn and never offer anything. The only real way to do this is for one to individually decide to participate.
