Paypal, when or if?

Does anyone have any insight as to when and whether Paypal will become a payment option at the Android Market?

Since Google is working on their own payment system (digital wallet) to directly compete against PayPal, I would say never.

I don't know when or if it's gonna ever happen. But I do think if there are more payment options, the revenue generated from android market will be increased, as I've already heard many ppl complaining about not being able to buy anything without a credit card.

If you have a Premier Business account with Paypal, they offer Mastercard and Visa debit cards (for your paypal account only, not associated with your bank). Those can be used for purchases anywhere, including the Market.

There's a lot of banks/credit unions that offer either a Mastercard or Visa debit card. They aren't credit cards. The debit cards can be used anywhere just like a regular credit card.
