Help pc access

Hi all,

when i connect my nexus to the pc, i can see it...access files...and do transferes and what not.

But if i right click the drive ( as i would with say a usb drive ) i have no option to search the device, also if i open windows search for instance and then look for the nexus to search...it is not there.

like wise i want to run a program called recuva which lets you recover deleted files, but the nexus does not show up in its list of drives to search.

i know i can do these things with apps on the device itself, but is there a way to make this work so i can use a pc.

for arguments sake lets presume im using windows xp

cheers

Because of the way it mounts to the PC (as an MTP/PTP device), it's not another drive per se, but another device. As a consequence, I don't believe any data recovery programs would work.
