Help pc connection help

I have a samsung galaxy tab 10.1 wifi, when i plug it into my pc it says mtp connected but i cant open it as a file to view folders like i can with my phone, i take notes in class with my tab and i want to get them on my pc but i cant figure out how to do it, any help would be appreciated. Im a newbie to this device and any other helpful info for it would be appreciated to, thanks

look to see if the drivers installed on your pc

Never thougt of that, thrre must have been an errornwhen it originally installed by itselfmcu i went to samsung and found the downkoad it said i already had the driver but i installed anyways and it works, thanks, it was really starting to p me off
