PC to Android Device App

[BroOfX]

New to site as well as new to Android experience. Just seeking to learn as much as I can. Any good advice is more than welcome.

I would like advice or direction on how to go about creating a pc to mobile app communication app. I want to have the ability to send work daily work information to employees from office pc to their Android device.

Couple ways, through emails or texting. Or, you have to maintain a socket connection between pc and android device. Since you can't know the network address of the device beforehand, you have to let the android device initiate a connection to your pc (which should be a server with an IP). Alternatively, you can use Twitter's API. Have the android devices to follow an account to get message from you. Hope this gives you some idea.
