What Computer/OS ... are you sure you downloaded the corrected version ...?

Windows 7, & I've had it working b4 on this comp

about a month ago i had everything set up the way it is now and it worked perfectly

i thought i read the most recent PDAnet update which fixed drops and added mac support, "broke" with windows 7.

I did not update based on comments and can still connect okay on win 7 64 pro

do you have XP anywhere to try it on?

i'm on Ultimate and the newest PDAnet with no problems but I used to have that error with XP and I can't remember exactly how I solved it but I remember it was solved through the properties under the modem connection in Network properties.

Its not PDAnet.

i am also getting a proxy message that comes up everytime i open IE or chrome, it is a message asking for username and pass: proxy flip packet or something

and after i uninstalled pdanet for pc the messages stopped poping up???

thought?
