When I open pdanet a get a blackscreen, which tiny text that is unreadable. Screenshot attached. Any thoughts on whats going on, Version 3.0.2 worked fine on my old droid...

I can't say for sure since I don't currently have the app installed but... looks as if you have Force GPU Rendering turned on. Try going into your settings, disable it and go back into the app.

SwiFTP makes the same screen for me like that too.

Ok I have love PDAnet and have been using it for over a year!!! AMAZING! $20 for a LIFETIME of reasonably free fast internet on any device from my Galaxy tablet to laptop at a lunchtime bar.

I recently upgraded to the Galaxy Nexus --- A FREAKING DREAM PHONE btw. I added Nova Launcher, LLama and Tasker and I am a happy man. NFC on the way...car mode, desk, and door locks?

Anyway PDAnet fails to load the screen properly on the nexus. There seems to be a res- drawing type issue and nothing is usable.

I SOLVED THIS! (sorta)
I simply put a PDAnet widget in the desktop and clicked USB icon. DONE!
