PDF reader for large magazines?

[djxdj]

Hi all,

I got a Galaxy Tab 10.1 for the purposes of reading PDF magazines. These files are typically pretty big, they range from about 60MB to 150MB, depending on the magazine and issue. They're entirely graphical, no text.

I have yet to find a pdf reader that is acceptable for reading these types of files. Just turning a page takes 10-15 seconds, and half the pages are ads, so you have SO much downtime and it ruins the reading experience.

Adobe Reader on a PC has no delay at all reading these files.

Can anyone recommend an app for this purpose? Even if I have to convert my files to another format, I'm fine with that.

Thanks!

Well, Adobe Reader on a PC has no problem rendering pages because it has greater power. A 1GHz single core x86 is faster than the 1.2GHz dual cores on Androids and IPads.

What apps have you tried? For pdf, ezPDF is highly rated. I use Mantano reader though, since my collection has several formats.
