Help PDF Viewer on Xoom

Is there a way to reset the download viewer on the Xoom? I think students selected Quick Office rather than Adobe and now some of the Xooms will not view PDFs that are posted on my website. I know they can view downloads in the Adobe Reader but that is a bit cumbersome

Open the settings menu, hit Applications, Manage applications, All, then Quick Office. In the next page which appears, click Clear Defaults. That should disassociate all apps with Quick Office meaning the next time they attempt to open a pdf, they should be prompted with which program to use.

Hopefully that should sort.

Tried that and it did not work. When you touch the PDf, it just sits there and does not open. Have to open Adobe then find hte PDf to open it.

Apologies for the delay, missed the response to this.

If they download the files, then browse to them via Astro or ES File Explorer, does that give them the option to select a default as opposed to opening them straight from the web?

Your students would be better off using EZ PDF Reader. It is a lot more faithful to the PDF file. Adobe app is slow and buggy.
