PDFS become huge when transferred

I have a pdf created from a powerpoint presentation. On the PC, it is approx 11 Mb. When I use Kies and transfer to the Galaxy, it indicates it is a 4 Gig file and it is almost impossible for any reader to open it correctly. Any ideas what is going on?

You're allowing Kies to convert it. Don't. Don't even use Kies - just drag the file to where you want it on the phone.
