I just started classes which have a lot of Pearson eText books. Pearson has been so kind as to release an app for Tablets (3.0+), but not for phones. I'd like to try it on my HTC Sensation 4G (running OTA updated ICS) before looking to throw down $300 on a tablet.
I found this regarding installing non-approved apps:

But how do I locate the actual apk? The app in Play is here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pearson.android.etext.sms&hl=en
But of course it says none of my devices are compatible. I've tried hunting around, but am having difficulty finding an apk for it.
Any help/ideas?
