I had requested to join the beta group, but when checking to see if I had been accepted yet, I found this link to download the beta app on apkdot. There's also a Pushbullet sub option so you can get notified if an update it posted.

Only issue I've had is that installing the Android Wear app (suggested by the app) broke text notifications from Textra.
