peeling paint?

Considering buying one in Canada but a bit concerned about reports of peeling paint because getting it on a 3yr contract.

Does anyone know if they have fixed the peeling paint problem in more recent builds of this device? I read that people say the colour has changed but that Samsung denies changing the colour. Maybe this means newer builds are immune to the paint peeling problem that plagued brand iterations of this device?

Its plastic with the color inside the plastic. nothing to peel on the S3. The child would have to swallow the phone whole to do damage.

There is a 1 year manufacture warranty if there is peeling paint, you could always exchange it.
however, I don't think there is paint on the surface, you'd have to remove a coat of plastic before you get to the paint.
