Root Pen Testing with MS840?

Hey Everyone,

So I recently just found my old MS840 phone lying around in a drawer in my kitchen and I immediately had to boot it up and see what it was running. Long story short I upgraded it to CM10 thanks to PlayfulGod. I haven't played around with android in years, since maybe gingerbread and I'm starting to think I'm going to switch back from my iPhone. For 2 reasons; 1. Android has gotten far more advanced and stable. 2. I've gotten into penetration testing and what better on the go pen testing platform than android.

So I'm wondering how difficult it would be to port over either Kali NetHunter from the makers of Kali Linux themselves or Kali Pwn Phone for XDA. (If any links break the rules please take it off)

I'm not an android developer, nor do I have really any experience in it. I've pretty much just rooted a handful of phones and installed tons of custom roms. I know I could go out and buy a Nexus 5 but why if it can be ported here right? I don't have the slightest idea of what it would take but if anyone thinks its possible let me know.

BTW: I have installed dSploit and all those other similar apps but it's truly not the same and really lacks the functionality compared to what a custom pentesting rom would be able to do.

Also, from all the research I've been doing about this. It looks like if the custom kernels that are used were ported over to work with the MS840, it would be the first and most crucial step in getting the rom and external usb devices work. Again That's just what I've takin from what I've read.
