Help Pendo 7 start up problem

hi, I just got a pendo pad 7 for free from Dodo for signing up. I'm having a problem. It won't start up, it flicks from a screen saying pendo to a android robot laying on its back with a red triangle with and exclamation mark in it. It continues to repeat the cycle. I have turned it off, I have stuck the reset pin in it and it still does the same. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?

That sounds like it is going straight into recovery mode. This will happen if it's unable to load the Android OS. The most likely reason is that the OS is corrupted, though I could imagine hardware problems which could cause this.

In any event I'd contact them and get it replaced. If they offer a "free" sign-up gift (i.e. paid from your subscription in reality) you still have the right to expect it to arrive in a working condition.

There's nothing you can really do with this one. Return it as faulty, that's it.
