Help "Peole" -- Searchability?

Quick question about Android w/ Sense

When I go into "People", is it possible to have it default with a search bar at the top so I don't have to either A) Scroll down all 200+ contacts to get to "R" or B) hit the search button again to bring up the window?

It seemed much easier on the DROID. I do know I can just type in Google search box or hit search button from home page, but I sometimes like to go through the Contacts so I can just start typing a letter and only show my contacts (not websites, calendar, etc.)

Sorry but, how is that not EXACTLY what you were looking for? It brings up contacts and provides you with a keyboard for searching by default.

just sayin.
