Thanks in advance for any help/ideas about this, don't know why, but it bothers me.
Just got the HTC816, love the device, but it has a few quirks.
In the pre-installed People App (contact list), it puts a mesh type overlay over pictures of my contacts.
Note that it ONLY does this for contacts that it pulled my my google/gmail contacts. Ones that I created on the phone (and have synced back to gmail) do not do this. Even ones it pulled and I added the photos on the phone don't do this. Only ones where the photos is pulled to the phone from gmail.
It even shows the photo in the bottom left corner without the overlay. Any ideas how to fix this WITHOUT having to go through my entire contact lists and reset the photos for each contact on the phone?
