Help People Widget issue, PLEASE HELP!!!!

There seems to be some problem with the people widget, my friend stream works properly and gives me all the updates, including Facebook status, pics, videos, like i meant everything! and when i use the people widget and choose a contact and press updates and events of that contact it also shows me the latest FB status change and when it was changed BUT on my 'people' 'all' screen the FB status is not updated, it remains the very old one (mostly are 5 to 6 days old ones not even the recently changed one) , and most of my contacts dont even have any status on them anymore.

The pictures of my contacts also have the same issue, some of them are updated while some pics are not updated and instead their old ones are shown.

The same issue is with my caller ID screen, like when my contacts call me or i call them i see their old or no status while when you visit friendstream or the updates and events it shows their latest one.

Theb auto sync feature is on on both Facebook for HTC Sense and Facebook Widget, and have also manually sync them a bizzillion times but no change.

I only use Facebook, have not signed in for twitter or flickr

Any idea how i can solve this issue have even factory reset my mobile.

Welcome to the forums, mastiman.

Sometimes those sorts of issues can be washed out without doing the factory data reset, but by "resetting" the app itself, so to speak.

Try going into menu > settings > applications > manage applications then (after all the apps and widget names have loaded) scroll to the widget with the issue and press the clear cache and clear data buttons, then reboot.

Some users even go ahead and do that for Facebook, Twitter, etc just for good measure.

I tried that, cleared cache and data of facebook and people but still status remains the same please help i am really getting frustrated now :'(
