I updated my Samsung Galaxy S3 (on 3 UK) a few days ago. Overall the performance boost has been excellent and I'm very happy with the updated firmware, but I seem to have run into a very strange and specific bug and was wondering if anyone else had seen the same problem. I've Googled and Googled and haven't seen anyone with the same issue yet
Basically, when I plug the phone in to charge it suffers from extreme (to the point of unusable) input lag - but *only* when I'm connected to WiFi at the same time. If I turn off WiFi and plug the phone in to charge it works perfectly - with a buttery smooth interface
Likewise, as long as the phone isn't plugged in, I can connect to and use WiFi normally without any input lag.
However, as soon as I try to charge the phone when connected to WiFi, or turn on WiFi when already charging, the whole thing slows to a crawl.
This has only started happening since I upgraded to Jelly Bean, so I can only assume it's a firmware problem, but I seem to be the only person in the world with this problem. Has anybody else seen it? Has anyone heard of it being a problem for other handsets? Failing that, do any 'Droid gurus here have any idea what could be behind it?
Thanks!
