Earlier i perm rooted my mytouch 4g(tmo froyo) with the guide found here
TMobile myTouch 4G: Full Update Guide - CyanogenMod Wiki
later I installed the leaked upgrade for gingerbread found at
[ROM]Glacier_Gingerbread_S_TMOUS_2.19.531.1_Radio_12.58 .60.25_26.11.04.03_M_release - Page 3 - xda-developers
now when I try the same rooting method using psneuter i get the message
1) you have to use gingerbreak instead of psneuter for gingerbread
2) Use Visionary
3) Downgrade to Froyo and then root and install a rooted ROM.
Is anyone working on a way to root the OTA gingerbread without downgrading or is it something that is impossible to do? If i can avoid it i don't want to downgrade.
