Help Permanently delete Chat/Chrome/Google+???

Hello all,

I don't use Chat On, Chrome or Google+ is it possible to delete these apps from my phone?

When I go to Manage Apps I don't see an option to "Uninstall" these like other apps.

I want them gone and I'm tired of the update notifications showing up.

Any help would be appreciated.

The easiest way would be, as said above by Mikestony, to disable them.
They won't be active, and once disabled, they will end up at the bottom of the app list.
You can always turn them back on later on.

With use of Nova Prime Launcher, I also have the option to hide them from app drawer, so naturally, I only have apps that I'm actually using, while all the junk is not visible.

Many of these, are part of touchwiz and android OS, so you can't remove them, unless you root.
Personally, I dare not to, so the solution I use works just fine.

regards
Seba

you cannot delete these apps they are part of Android (Google)..... have a great day

Simplest and risk-free method is to disable them via the Application Manager. As someone has explained, the disabled apps will appear at the bottom of the list and you have the ability to enable them in the future in case the necessity arises. I have disabled ChatOn and Google+ ....

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but where do I find Application Manager?
I don't want Google+ using 62Mb of valuable memory & don't use the app.
I haven't set up a Google+ account but AppMgr says it's still using RAM.
I've tried deleting it before but it just reinstalls itself.
My phone is running v slow, hence the question. I'm not techy enough to "root" my phone.
I have a Sony Xperia S LT26i running Android 4.1.2

Many thanks

Yes this is 100% possible. You will need to root your phone, that will void your warranty (if its not already expired). If you want further help just ask over on the all things root section. Honestly I recommend just going a little farther and installing custom rom =). Most come with very few pre-installed apps, along with having tons more options and settings. Do not listen to the people saying you can not do this, just go over to the root section. :)

You are going to want to ask that Xperia S fourms, there is a sticky about rooting on the top, but it is out of date I think. Does not look like much activity there so you may have better luck asking in regular Xperia S section. Both links included.
