Help Permanently remove samsung keyboard as default

Note 5 Keyboard Question

when i select keyboard set up input methods and deselect the samsung keyboard and select another type of keyboard, the system changes my default keyboard back to Samsung in a matter of minutes. I dont understand why this is happening and do not care for the samsung keyboard. any thoughts?
