I have had a Galaxy Note 2 for one year (with NO issues) with AT&T. I did an AT&T software update (Android version 4.3) yesterday. Now the personal notifications I had set for different contacts will not work no matter what I do. The only ringtone that works is a downloaded one but only if set as the default. When I view a contacts profile, the ringtone/notifications I specified are correct, and I can select & play them. After selecting and saving, the instant they call/text is goes back to default. At best, the ringtone will play for a fraction of a second then the default kicks in. I have NO SMS alert sounds. Not even if I choose a factory sound as default. It just vibrates. I have spent 2-3 hrs online trying to research this, I have done multiple battery pulls, used the help function on my phone, and even got out my owners manual....with 0 progress. I have not installed any new apps prior. In fact I have deleted some after this issue started. I thank you in advance for your help.
