Personalizing?!?

I just got my phone yesterday, so I am a newbie of newbies. I know that personalization is one of the cool things about the EVO\EVO Shift. Can anyone tell me if there are tutorials, YouTube videos, or even books about personalizing and adequately utilizing the assets of my EVO?

This should help you with the basics;


menu > wallpaper

menu > settings > sound

and/or

menu > Settings > personalize


to remove an icon, hold it and drag it down to the "remove button"

to add an icon/widget, press in a blank area until the "add to home" menu appears.

You could download zedge, backgrounds or wallpaper apps from the store to get ringtones and wallpapers for your phone.

I have launcher pro for additional customization of the dock, icons, widgets etc.

I also use iclockr for a neat little clock on the home page.

Beautiful widgets is also pretty cool if you want to customize your time and weather setting widgets. Good luck!
