Root PG's CM build question

I wasn't sure if anyone had fixed the lock screen light turning off yet? I can't remember if someone ever did, let me know thanks guys, appreciate it!

You mean the blacklight issue, no there hasn't been a complete fix for it. The issue ONLY occurs when brightness is at 100% so at any other brightness level the issue doesn't occur.

Hmmph that's odd..my brightness is at 0% and it's still happening

Really? It never happens to me me unless its at 100%. Last time I tested this was on PG's 8-09 build, I haven't tested the 8-17 Build yet. Are you running the lastest build?

I don't think I had the right one...this one put the user bar on the bottom of the phone and reboot had a fire skull? Don't think I picked the correct version xD..

That's the right one. Go into "Paranoid" settings in the Settings menu. User Workspace, either of the first two options will put the bar back to the top. The Apps setting will allow you to resize any app, including settings, if things are too small.

you can find a bootanimation changer on google play if you dont like the fire skull. lol

if you dont like the settings screen on paranoid you can try liquid smooth it has a regular settings screen.

EDIT: It put me ina boot loop >.< Lol. should've left it how it was.

if someone's said this already sorry, but I noticed other than- if brightness is at 100% as previously stated above, if the screen is off then you turn it on with out unlocking, then hit the power button to power screen off, this issue can happen.


simply unlock the lockscreen before hitting the power button again. always has worked for me hope it helps if you don't wanna pull .zip's and patch it
