Phandroid data usage

[jaybo1973]

Hi all.

I have just been checking my data usage for the month and phandroid came top of the list. I hardly use it unless connected to a network. Why is it so high?

Can you provide a screen shot of any sort?

Not at the moment, I am on phone and have nowhere to upload too

Do you mean Android System? That's the #2 user on mine.

[Metroid Prime]

It could be a background process still running, they also have apps to monitor data usage.

Phandroid is an app for using this forum. It has used 70mb this month. As mentioned in original post, I hardly use it on 3g, I use it 90% of the time on WiFi, and its not like I am always on here

It seems a lot for background stuff

Once again, phandroid is the biggest data user this month. I really can't understand why it is so high. Once again, I have hardly used it on 3g

Are you using the new version?

It was just released in the past few days and isn't an update to the old app.

Ok. Tried it. Looks nice but I only use the app for accessing this forum. Not possible with the new app.

ah, they are going to be releasing a forum only app and a news/forum app as well. The forum app will be based on tapatalk. I'm not sure of the timeline though.

Cool. I'll keep a look out for it
