Phandroid needs a new site designer!

I have to say that Phandroid.com is really annoying to load and read as there is way too many images and especially flash applications on the pages.

You guys really need to tone it down a bit.

On another note: I could have won the Holidroid contest, but due to the loading time of the page, I was beat.

True, but it still means that people with not as good internet connections have a disadvantage.

I would agree the site is slow to load - but I'm not sure if that's site design or hosting or something else. It can be frustrating at times but it seems to vary a bit by time of day and I presume use so it may be more of a function of load than design only.
