Hi Phil, welcome to the forums! The easiest way would be to use the data cable, after you have connected the phone to the computer you select "Disk Drive" from the menu that should pop up, after that you can navigate to your SD card to a file labled DCIM, inside there is another folder, usually 100MEDIA, this is where your pictures are stored. Open that, select and copy or cut what you want to transfer and you can move it anywhere you want to store it on your laptop.

Alternately, you can email them one or two at a time to yourself if you aren't looking to transfer a lot.
