Android phones are AMAZING (disclaimer I *may* be a little biased but look where you are)
Android phones tend to be less expensive than iphones, easier for development, and just better.
Samsung phones are amazing. I have owned LG, HTC and Samsung Android phones and my Samsung is by far my favorite.
