Help Phone Acting Up Since Latest Hardware Update

Hey Guys,
Ever since I updated my phone it has really been acting up. First, the service in my house has been awful. I usually got Full Bars of 3G, but now I only get 1-2 bars of 1X. Second, I've been having issues with certain apps like Instagram and others. Is there a way to uninstall the latest update without doing a total phone reset that would delete all of my apps, pics, etc..? Please help!

Usually a factory data reset fixes that, followed by updating your PRL and Profile, in that order.

Android, like browsers, run off of caches. Like browsers, they can get tangled or hosed on an update and need clearing. Going back to a previous version will still require you to clear them.

Once caches are tangled up, there's no other way than to clear them. It's a known deal.

It's easy to do if you're a rooter, but factory data reset if you're not.

Look into MyBackup Pro or Carbon for backups, plus use SMS Backup+ with either to save your texts.

Not backing up and not resetting gets more people in trouble on updates than any other thing.

PS - drag and drop to backup your sd card to your PC, right now.

Also confirm that your contacts are on your Gmail using your PC and the web.
