a girl typed her number into my phone, i pressed the sleep button (top right button) and it wasn't there when i woke the phone up.. is there anything i can do to get the number back??? is there an event log of some sort built in to the phone? (I have an HTC one X and the swiftkey app (don't know if that helps)). I plugged my phone in and copied the contents to my computer when i got home.
