i was in the middle of rooting a friends htc evo 4g lte phone, when suddenly the sd card went bad, and the phone started asking me for a password to decrypt the sd card. well, i managed to complete root, by loading supersu, but now cannot seem to get the phone to load any custom roms, just to get it back up and running. i really need some help here, as i have samsung phones, and am not as familiar with htc. as it stands, it says there is no os installed, and gives me an error message when i try to install a custom rom. so i am not sure where to go from here. i wanted to flash philz, as i am much more familiar with it, than twrp, but phils is an image, not a zip. so that isn't working either. any help is much appreciated.
