Phone auto opening apps, calling etc. Can't text with headphones in.

I've noticed the top left app on my home screen is always highlighted as it currently selected. Is this normal?

Also randomly the phone will act like I am repeatedly tapping the screen and it will open random apps, call people all while in my hand and not anywhere close to pressing on the phone.

Also if I have my headphones in, if I try to send a text message it will literally allow me to type one character or word and auto send the text. It's very annoying and only happens with headphones in.

At my wit's end with the data drop and this crap.

Have you applied a screen-protector to it? If so, it could be interfering with the touch-screen, and that has been known. Also try restarting the device, in case it's just acting funky.

Could be related to the first problem. Also is it only happening when it's on charge? Because occasionally cheapo third-party chargers can interfere with the touch-screen as well. And I've had that happen myself.

Happens when not plugged in. Charger is the stock charger that came with it. No screen protector

If you've already tried restarting and resetting it, and there's no apparent external causes, like wayward chargers or screen-protectors, then it could be the touch-screen itself has gone faulty, repair required.

its a headphone glitch, unplug and replug headphones. although your device may need repair for the other strange things
