Help Phone bricked, without being flashed.

I was just updating to ICS using the official Kies software, and it told me the installation had failed. All I can see on the phone now is a picture of a phone, a warning sign, and a computer.

Is there anything I can do at this point or should I just send it back for repairs?

SOLVED (see last post)
 
Remove battery reconnect to pc try to update via kies again.

If it doesn't work and you have warranty then take it to the service center for repairs.
 
Solved. In case anyone from the future finds this thread: it was as simple as going to Kies and clicking Tools > Emergency firmware recovery. You need to be on the screen with the phone, warning sign and computer, which you ought to get just by turning on your phone. Connect the phone to one of the back USB ports, because the front ones just weren't working properly for me.
