Hmmmmm if you know where the mic hole just stick a staple or a stickpin into the hole . Dont push into far that will damage the mic. The problem is due to makeup or dirt from body sweat . clear the whole and test it out
I cleaned out the mic hole with air and she took it by Verizon and they swapped out sim cards. It still sounds like she is whishpering in a hallway when anyone talks to her. I have an M8 and there is an internal menu to check the microphones. Is there anything similar on teh S5?

Try Isopropanol alcohol on a wash cloth.
Don't soak the phone, but do get the cloth wet and let it dissolve the oils and debris on the microphone inlet.
